Abiinooji-Aki Inc. (A.A.I.) was founded in 1992 and received its Tax Exempt status in 1999 as a Charitable Organization.  A.A.I. was founded to assist in the tribe’s efforts to combat the high rate of alcohol and drug abuse.  Abiinooji-Aki is located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation near Hayward, WI.  For the past 26 years, Abiinooji-Aki accomplished many goals in the areas of Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA), mental health, women issues and spiritual growth.

Abiinooji-Aki believes the value of the culture, ceremonies and rituals are essential, and also crucial to the growth of body, mind and spirit.  With that in mind, we are combining our efforts along with many grassroots people to bring women together to empower them with Spiritual knowledge and self-determination that will inspire them to stand up for Clean Water.  It is vital for ALL women to ensure life continues for Mother Earth, and for all of our generations to come.

We invite you to explore our website and read our messages on Facebook.
